Videos I make for class vary between ads and persuasive/argument themes. These are the videos which have recieved the most positive feedback from its viewers.
Class
VIDEO
Through various classes and projects, I always found myself editing videos. Even though I only had the most basic editing programs (iMovie '08), I still managed to effectively produce material that suited my purposes, and outstood others in terms of audience impact. These are highlights of my video creations–which speak loud in impact and meaning, not necessarily editing program capibilities.
This was an assignment to create an advertisement to sign up for AP Psychology (and overall, AP Night). It was made with hand drawn pictures (made to create a fast-pased, comic-strip like feel).
The charm of this piece is the incorporating of both art and simple editing to convey a quick and simple message.

Wouldn't you sign up?

English Honors 9-10
Argument Pieces (in Debates)
Is the inherent nature of humanity good? In the 9th grade debate (English Honors) I was assigned to argue on the 'affirmative' side of the question.
This was shown at debate and still remains as a favorite from my classmates and teachers. It's by far the best argument video I've made.
English Honors 10
"Has Technology Improved our Humanity?" (Affirmative)
EnglishHonors 10
"Has Technology Improved our Humanity? (Negative)"
English Honors 9
"Is Human Nature Good? (Affirmative)"
Has technology strengthened our humanity? In my 10th grade debate (English Honors) I was assigned to argue on the 'negative' side of the question.
Has technology strengthened our humaity? This is the 'affirmative' viewpoint, which I took in the period v. period (final) debate.
Same prompt...but opposite arguments!
National History Day (NHD)
Through Freshman and Sophomore Year, I participated in National History Day. Though technically an assignment given by the teacher, I made my documentaries with intent to produce quality.
World History, 10th Grade
NHD 2014: "Bloody Sunday"
Under the theme of 'Rights and Responsibilities', I created this documentary on Russia's Bloody Sunday. It made it as far as States level.
Though only edited in iMovie '08, I'm very proud of how closely it mimiced a 'real' documentary, with aspects such as added sound effects (gunshots, etc).
US History, 9th Grade
NHD 2013: "The Mary Ellen Wilson Case"
Under the theme of 'Turning Points in History', I created a documentary on the development of child abuse rights. It made it as far as District level.
The unique thing about this documentary is that this case was so old (1805) that there actually were very few pictures of the case.
So being an artist...
I DREW IT!
