OTHER DESIGN

These T-shirts were request of my AP Lit Period 1 class this past school year. The plan was to wear them on the day of our AP exam to bond our period, as we had an exceptionally fun and united vibe throughout the year. I took surveys on design concepts and colors the class wanted, and then drew the design for front and back of the shirts.

In between all of the flyers, banners and posters, I've also designed other pieces that don't necessarily fit into any of those catagories. These were voluentary projects, or made by request from teachers (similar to majority of the posters and banners featured).

The designs were made, sent to our design department, and our classmates silk screened the deisgns onto burgundy shirts! Featured on the front is Mrs. Lisa-Anne Tsuruda, our beloved teacher, iconically energetic and rad. On the back, there are symbols and motifs from our favorite books these years (French flags and knitting yarn from A Tale of Two Cities, a skull from Hamlet, an expedition ship from Heart of Darkness, an '11' from our favorite short story Eleven).

The entire shirt was designed around a 'Jacquerie' theme– with Auntie Lisa as Madame Defarge, and us students as the Jacques (another Tale of Two Cities reference). Included also, are our favorite class hashtages: #CRAY, #WTS (said repetitively throughout the year by both teacher and students).

Earlier this year my Chorus teacher requested me to design a logo for an annual chorus concert, 'Na Leo Hou'. I came up with draft designs and I had contact with the teachers in the concert to finalize the official look. Pictured below are the draft pictures, the original design for the logo (which was given to me for reference), and a small picture of the logo used for the actual concert program.
