These motivational posters and banners were part of a NHS (National Honor Society) school improvement project. Students selected motivational quotes, I gathered pictures of our student activities (clubs, band, sports etc.) and designed these motivational posters and banners to be hung in classrooms and school hallways.
Motivational Posters and Banners
From being involved in community service and school organizations, I've always found myself designing. This ranged from designing posters, banner, flyers, nametags, newsletters and much more. Over the years, through various causes and projects, I've been consistently able to express ideas through design.

This was one of the most lengthy design projects I have ever done. There were various steps to the process.
First, I offered to actually design the posters. NHS wanted to put MHS motivational material all over campus, and I wanted to contribute. Then favorite quotes from students were gathered and picked. Then I went to various departments asking for pictures of their students.
The designs, resolutions and formats then went through a series of finalizations, proofs, and approval from the administration.
Then on one glorious day, NHS kids posted them all over campus...and boom, MHS Motivationals!

Ever since middle school I've designed flyers promoting events or actvities. Even now, in Senior year, I'm still designing recruitment flyers and have several more to start soon. The flyers below have a variety of stories behind them– some requested by teachers, some offered to be done by me, and others for clubs or affiliations. They all have different tones and styles to them, all of which express the inherent nature and impact I wanted the audience to feel for the event.
